Jemma Kirk and Quelisto top Compiegne's grand prix


Jemma Kirk saved the best until last in Compiegne CSI2* in France, and won the 1.45m world ranking Grand Prix for the second year running on Quelisto.

Only five of the 50 starters accessed the jump-off, with Jemma taking the top spot on the J’ai L’Espoir D’Elle 12-year-old Quelisto by a sec over their nearest rivals, France’s Vincent Balleux and Signee Lulu.

Just four faults prevented Charlotte Flack from contending the jump-off on the Luidam 11-year-old Ashdale Luxara and they finished eighth.

Charlotte netted third in the 1.35m with Henry and Edna Harding’s CS Online eight-year-old Ashdale Sublime with Rebecca Williams in ninth on Shere Khan.

Jemma took fifth in the 1.30m on the nine-year-old Tchoupie Peronniere with Lana Craker in seventh on Finer Bride.
