Brits pick up useful places in Lummen 3*


In Lummen on Wednesday, Jake Saywell came seventh in the Big Tour 3* 1.45m section A speed on the Cicero nine-year-old Havinia Van De Roshoeve with Harriet Nuttall in 11th on the Romanov eight-year-old Galway Bay Jed. And Harriet also took seventh in the section D equivalent on the Irish-bred Touchdown/Cavalier Royale 12-year-old A Touch Imperious with Graham Gillespie in 13th on the selle Francais 11-year-old Reve De Bacon.

Tim Davies was just 0.33 sec off the pace to take second in the Big tour 1.40m on the Ferro 14-year-old Valentijn O with Joe Clayton jumping a super double clear on Steve and Caroline Barnes’ talented Ard VDL Douglas nine-year-old Millioninmind.

Jordan Thompson claimed second in the Small Tour 1.30m on Christine Spanner’s 12-year-old Topflight True Carlo and Alice Palmer on the Zuidam nine-year-old Fanadwest Dancer took ninth in the Medium Tour 1.30m.
