Emily Ward is best Brit in Oliva Nova's top class of the day

Emily Ward took third on the Cassini II mare Vragance Manciaise in the top class of the day, the Gold 3* 1.40m, won by Belgium’s Constant van Paesschen on Belladonna II De Longpre.  Dominic Webb slotted Alvatore into ninth.

Alice Watson clinched second in the Gold Accumulator on the For Pleasure mare Cudansa M, just behind Germany’s Holger Wulschner and Catch Me T.

Ireland’s Clem McMahon dominated the age classes with progeny of his late stallion Pacino, winning the seven-year-old on Pacato and taking third on Pacifico.  Lee Williams was best Brit in 13th with a steady double clear on Salvador, a Balou Du Rouet/Golden Graf gelding.

And Clem also topped the six-year-old with Hilton Alibi.  Alice Watson took second on the Billy Congo daughter Billy Limoncello with Sharon Quigley in fourth on Fiorella and Alex Barron the Balou Du Rouet mare Ferrara Durona.

Will Edwards was best Brit in the five-year-old, taking sixth on Tinkas Brook II.
