Carmen Edwards takes another win in Oliva Nova


Day two of the age classes in Oliva Nova on the MET3 tour, and Carmen Edwards is nothing but consistent. He repeated Tuesday’s five-year-old win with half a sec to spare on Twinning Hill, a Zambesi/Turbo gelding bred by his grandfather Charlie Edwards. And his brother Will – third on Tuesday – took fifth on Tinkas Brook II, another home-bred also by Zambesi and out of a Lion D’Or mother.

Alice Watson headed the six-year-old with well over a sec in hand on the Balou Du Rouet/Galoubet gelding E Pilotta. Lee Williams took ninth on another Balou Du Rouet gelding, Salvador, and Emily Ward was 11th on Lexie III.

Skye Higgin and Etoile Vd Wijnhoeve Z took fourth in the six-year-old.
