Keith Shore and Mystic Hurricane are best Brits in San Giovanni


Keith Shore and Mystic Hurricane claimed fourth in the world ranking Riviera sun tour 3* grand prix in San Giovanni, Italy, won by Gerrmany’s Jorne Sprehe and Stakki’s Jumper. Four faults in the jump-off dropped Joe Davison and Calimero Van’t Roth down the order to ninth in the 12-horse decider. Jonathan Buxton took seventh in the 1.45m with the Montender nine-year-old Strides Hilana Sterne with Joe Davison in 14th with Venoot following four faults in round one. Samantha Burbidge eased Itsallaboutlux into third in the 1.10m, and also took 12th on Lurgan’s Carrick Diamond. At WEF, Wellington, Ben Maher brought Carolina 31 into fifth in the Suncast 1.50m, won by USA’s Kent Farrington on Creedance in a 10-horse jump-off.
