Bobbie Heath and Faye Sutton win at the final winter pony premier


On the last day at Bury Farm’s final 148cm premier of the season, Bobbie Heath headed the Charles Stanley winter JA classic with the only clear on Cisco Bay II (pictured, bay). Nicole Lockhead-Anderson was second on Just Dolce and Lily Freeman Attwood slotted the 13-year-old Konzales Van Orchids into third.

Faye Sutton, 13, claimed another Hickstead finalist place, winning Sunday’s final RIHS JC qualifier on the impressive Irish-bred 12-year-old Robe Ruadh (pictured, grey). Faye is already through to the Hickstead 138cm with Shutter Fly and Fast Fun.

Scotland’s Nicole Lockhead-Anderson claimed the second Hickstead JC ticket with the Irish seven-year-old Gangnam Style and Elizabeth Baker on the nine-year-old Okehurst Colour Code took third.

Lucy Hahn topped the 148cm special on Edna with Georgina Burchmore-Eames in second on Ron Burgundy.
