Steven Franks shows his brute strength on the Costa del Sol

Steven Franks finished second in the world ranking grand prix on the Costa del Sol tour with Brutus III (pictured). There were no clears, but four riders completed round one on 1 time fault apiece to go forward into a 12-horse jump-off against the four faulters, all carrying their faults. Steven opted for a steadier jump-off clear and finished second behind winner, the Netherlands’ Sanne Thijssen and Con Quidam RB. Julie Slade and For Gotti headed the 1.20m and William Funnell was third in the Master 1.30m on Billy Cool.
