Marco Kutscher is top in Hong Kong

Germany's Marco Kutscher clinched the Longines grand prix in Hong Kong on Van Gogh (pictured), and with it a 250k euro bonus for winning their second grand prix of the series. They won the Los Angeles grand prix back in October. John Whitaker and Argento were best Brits, taking ninth in the 12-horse jump-off on four faults. Jess Mendoza was11th on Spirit T and Laura Renwick (Bintang) took 13th as the fastest four faulter in round one. Ireland's Bertram Allen was fifth on Hector Van d'Andijhoeve, Billy Twomey and Diaghilev had eight faults in round one and Joe Clee (Fento Chin S) had nine. France's Roger Yves Bost won the 1.45m speed on Record d'Oreal. Joe Clee (Vedet de Muze ET) was seventh , Laura Renwick (REmbrandt Blue) eighth and John Whitaker (Lord of Arabia) ninth, all with four faults in fast times. Billy Twomey (Ardcolum Duke) took 12th with Jess Mendoza (Wan Architect) 17th.
