Nicole in a winning double on the Atlantic tour, Vilamoura

While her sister Louise was winning in Oliva Nova, Nicole Pavitt was blazing a trial on the Atlantic tour, Vilamoura, winning the 1.35m on seasoned favourite Amaryllis Van De Heffink. Paul Barker took fourth (Lux Fabulous) and sixth (Happy Boy), Laura Mantel (Glory B V) was tenth and Maja Burnell (Carnaval Komombo) took 11th. Nicole was also 12th on Victor Blue in the world ranking 1.45m, won by France's Romain Potin (Impressario Van De Heffinck). Dan Moseley (Dakota) was fourth in the 1.30m with Sophie Fawcett (Quite Cadiz) sixth, William Rekart (Flair Van Overis Z) tenth and Danielle Farnsworth (Cornasciebe Ferro) 15th. Dan was also second in the five-year-old on Lawrence C, Sammie-Jo Coffin (Follyfoot Arkadia) took third with John Crippen (AS Bombay) fourth, Ireland's Anna Duff (SFS Harriet) sixth, Emma Stoker (Vienna) tenth and Laura Mantel (Gotcha) 12th. Julie Whibley and Harlequin Joe won the 1.10m, Suzy Golding took sixth on Antigone EZ and eighth with Emine DDH and Shannon Kelly (Hi Miss Coliene M) was seventh. In the 1.20m, Sammie-Jo Coffin (Denzil Boy) was fourth, Eleri Guy (Tors La Loi) took seventh, Louise Stoner (Cool Impression) was eighth with Emma Stoker (Miss Moneypenny) ninth, Laura Mantel (Esgracia) tenth and Scarlette Norman (Assaro LD) 17th.
